Love

Love is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties, affection and tenderness felt by lovers, affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests. That seems to be the definition in every dictionary, but I have my own. I think being in love is such a wonderful feeling. There is great pain but it comes after a powerful and great happiness. How do I know when I am in love?

I know I am in love when I forget about my surroundings and all I think about is him. I can not get enough of him and I am constantly thinking and day dreaming that I am with him. When the smallest things in the world remind me of him and I begin to smile for no reason. I know I am in love when I am not able to talk to him and I just get this sadness feeling inside of me, and when I am with him it feels like we are the only people alive. And even though I know that when we do not talk at times, it does not matter how far we are from each other, I know he thinking about me to. I know I am in love when my world starts to fall apart and he is the only person I want to confide in to lift me up and put me on top of the world again. And when we have an ARGUMENT that is when I MISS HIM THE MOST.

I know I am in love when I am on the phone with him and even if we do not speak to each other, hearing him breathe brings smiles to my face. As well as hearing him fall asleep on the phone and waking up early to the sound of his sleepy voice just makes my heart melt inside and out. I know I am in love whenever I try so hard to ignore and avoid him, he just always seem to be there. Despite his flaws, differences, and mistakes I still love everything about him and I still cannot get enough of him, which is how I know when I am in love.
